Passport stamps in Andorra
Andorra, located in the Pyrenees between France and Spain, is a small country.
There are still border checkpoints between France and between Spain, but
normally
no passport checks is done for tourists.
Andorra is not an Schengen area country like France and Spain, so legally
there can
be a check and passport stamps should exist.
In Aug 2011, I visited the country, and asked for it at the tourist office
in Andorra la Vella (the capital). They said the stamps exist at the borders
and they'll give one when requested.
However, I took buses in/out of Andorra, and the buses didn't stop at the
borders, so
I missed the chance.
I believe it can be obtained at the borders, please report me if somebody
has got one.
Principaute de Monaco is the 2nd smallest country surrounded by Southern France and
the Mediterranean.
Monaco is a Schengen area country, and what is more, checkpoints don't
seem to exist. However, the passport stamp is available at an information
desk.
In Nov 2011, I visited monaco, and asked for the stamp at the information
centre just across a small park with a fountain in front of the casino.
They directly stamped on my passport for no cost. The stamp had no date.
